HOW DO I GET TO CATHEDAL RIDGE?

Cathedral Ridge is located in the Pike National Forest, north of Woodland Park, CO on SH 67. We are in the heart of the Rocky Mountains near Colorado Springs and two hours from Denver.

WHO MAY VISIT?

Cathedral Ridge is open to all groups and individuals who want to spend time away from their work and home in a place apart. You can enjoy a private stay, organize your own event or register to attend a camp or retreat planned by the Episcopal Church in Colorado.

IS CATHEDRAL RIDGE A RETREAT CENTER OR SUMMER CAMP?

Both! Cathedral Ridge is a versatile venue where all are welcome. We love youth events and camps, family reunions, and corporate and non-profit retreats and meetings. We love bringing our open and welcoming faith tradition to our state and we host others who want to do the same.

ARE THE MEALS SERVED HEALTHY?

Nutritious, well-balanced meals include fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy and meats with a variety of beef, pork, chicken and fish. We are interested in the local, sustainable, and delicious food that is good for us and for the world. Vegetarian and special meals, to accommodate allergies and other dietary restrictions, can be arranged upon request.


HOW ARE CABIN ASSIGNMENTS MADE FOR YOUTH CAMPS?

For our Summer camps, cabin assignments are made by gender and age. Campers wanting to be in the same cabin must each make the same request on their registration. Siblings are not usually placed in the same cabin.


WHAT WILL MY CHILD BE DOING AT CATHEDRAL RIDGE?

Each day of summer camps is filled with organized activities like field games, hiking, archery, confidence course, skits, games, small group reflection, chapel time, and more.

WHERE DO CAMPERS STAY?

Campers stay in dormitory-style buildings with bunk beds and indoor sinks, toilets, and showers. We have well maintained facilities and comfortable meeting spaces as well as access to the outdoors.

WHAT KINDS OF EVENTS ARE HELD AT CATHEDRAL RIDGE?

A wide variety. We hold events planned by The Episcopal Church in Colorado, we have other religious organizations who plan events and retreats, and we work with kids, adults, young adults and everyone in between. We also are a place where you can plan your meeting or retreat, corporate or non-profit. We hold family events and summer camps, corporate retreats, board meetings, leadership meetings, training events, and reunions.

WHO CAN BOOK AN EVENT AT CATHEDRAL RIDGE?

We work with businesses, corporate boards, not-for-profit organizations, families, and religious groups of all faith traditions. If you are not on this list, we will be happy to help you plan the event or retreat or meeting that works for you.

HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE TO THE LIFE OF CATHEDRAL RIDGE?

Consider joining us for one of the retreats hosted by The Episcopal Church in Colorado. Plan an event for your group or ministry. Send your children and youth to summer camp. Become a counselor for our summer camps. Consider volunteering or donating time, in-kind resources, or money. We have many charitable giving options.
