Adult Retreats
A place apart…. Cathedral Ridge Camp and Retreat center offers you a respite, a calm, a place apart for you to get to know God’s still small voice.
God’s voice in the wind at the ridge. God’s voice through the trees. God’s voice at the edge of the Beaver pond in the trickling water. God’s voice in the crunch of boots along the labyrinth.
God’s peace which passes all understanding keeping your heart and mind in the knowledge and love of God, and of God’s son, Jesus Christ.
Come to a place apart from life’s busy-ness. Come and hear God’s voice.

Lenten Retreat: Virtual Pilgrimage of the holy land
March 14-16 2025
Deepen your Lenten experience by participating in a virtual pilgrimage of the Holy Land March 14-16. Led by Christian tour guide Canon Iyad Qumri from Jerusalem, the weekend experience will begin with a video welcome to Jerusalem from Archbishop Hosam Naoum, as he would if you were visiting the Cathedral Close in person.
When not taking in the sites or soaking in prayer, retreat participants will enjoy the beauty and tranquility of our Diocesan retreat center, Cathedral Ridge. Encompassing 160 acres of beautiful woodland, meadows, and streams, just north of Pikes Peak and surrounded by the pristine Pike National Forest, Cathedral Ridge offers comfortable accommodations and great food, affording a fabulous place to commune with the Divine.

Care of Creation Retreat
September 26-28, 2025
Peace with Creation: Diocesan Retreat for Leaders and Advocates in the Work of Caring for Creation
Grounded in the ecumenical Season of Creation, we will explore the troubling realities of our awesome and diverse State of Colorado: its forests, water, plains, and urban environments. As we lean into the work of healing our planet and striving for beloved community for all creation, we will learn ways to connect and collaborate with other communities of faith, ecumenical and inter-faith, as well as nonprofits in our communities already doing the work of ecological care and eco-justice. Guiding us will be Isaiah 32:14-18, which calls on the Holy Spirit to break through and lead us into the work of striving for justice for all creation and the way of peace for our island home. In addition to presentations and discussions, the retreat will include worship, prayer experiences, and free time for fellowship and exploring Cathedral Ridge. Congregations are encouraged to send up to two leaders and advocates engaged or hoping to engage in the work of caring for creation, who can upon return share their learnings and experiences with their congregation. Cost: $75/per person. This retreat is made possible with the financial support of our diocesan regions.
Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness abide in the fruitful field. The effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust for ever. (Isaiah 32:15-17)
The Abound Retreats for Episcopal Clergy and Lay Leaders are made possible by grant funding from the Regions of the Episcopal Church in Colorado. Thank you to the Regions for your financial partnership!
