Summer Camp Counselor
Must be 18+ years old to apply
A camp counselor will provide mature, creative and energetic leadership to the Cathedral Ridge Summer Camp programs. During youth camps, a camp counselor will be responsible for the overall safety and well-being of all campers, oversee daily cabin routines, and assist program staff in implementing camp activities. During family camps, the counselor will provide leadership for outdoor activities, games, and crafts, participate in worship gatherings, and guide small group reflections. In all camps, a camp counselor serves as an example for campers, modeling appropriate behavior and cultivating a positive camp culture that forms campers of all ages in their Christian faith.
Counselor in Training (CIT)
must be 16-18 Years old to apply
Do you know a young person who loves camp and would enjoy learning to lead? Cathedral Ridge is pleased to offer our counselor-in-training program as a leadership development initiative for teens to explore the fundamentals of youth and children's ministry in the summer camp context. CIT's will work closely with adult counselors in preparing activities, leading small group conversations, and assisting with daily cabin routines. Enjoy beautiful and fun-filled summer days at Cathedral Ridge, all while gaining mentorship, leadership experience, and a small stipend
Summer support staff
Must be 16+ years old to apply
Many hands make light work, and there is plenty of work to be done during our summer programming season! If you have a passion for supporting summer camp ministry behind the scenes, this may be the right role for you. Members of the Summer Support Staff team will assist in a variety of roles throughout the camp, including grounds and facilities maintenance, helping with preparation and clean-up in the kitchen around meal times, and flipping lodging and meeting spaces between groups. While Support Staff may be asked to assist with facilitating certain activities (setting up tables for crafts, transporting kayaks to the lake, etc.), they will not be directly responsible for supervising children.
Lead Musician and Social Media Manager

As a focused member of the Summer Support Staff team, the Lead Musician & Social Media Manager will be responsible for selecting, preparing, and leading worship songs at Morning Prayer, Compline, and the closing Eucharist at each camp session, as well as offering classic camp songs around the campfire. This talented and creative person will also be responsible for taking photos and videos throughout each camp session, which they will then use to a) regularly update Cathedral Ridge's social media pages (Instagram and Facebook) and b) prepare a slide show for the end of each camp session to celebrate and recognize God's presence throughout the program. While this position involves facilitating program offerings, the Lead Musician & Social Media Manager will not be directly responsible for supervising children.
